China notifies to WTO the test method of in-vitro 3T3 NRU phototoxicity for chemical raw materials used by cosmetics.
It has been deemed as the country’s first in vitro alternative test in the cosmetic field contributing to reducing animal tests and guiding the safety evaluation of cosmetic raw materials.
The proposed date of adoption is 1 June 2012.
