Takehome: On June 20th, CNCA released a notice instructing inspection and testing institutions to deal with renaming issues during institutional reform.

Pursuant to the scheme of institutional reform, some industry authorities have uniformly renamed their authorized or affiliated inspection and testing institutions. To facilitate the renamed institutions to carry out testing work, CNCA (Certification and Accreditation Administration of the People’s Republic of China) released a notice allowing institutions to use the original certificate and mark of qualification to issue testing reports and renew the qualification certificate using the new names after their original qualification certificate expires.
