On June 14, 2018, Guangdong FDA held a press conference, informing the public of recent progress affecting the online cosmetic approval system.
Guangdong FDA has significantly improved its online cosmetic administrative approval service which includes: online application, online acceptance, online review, online approval, and online certificate issuance. The new update will shorten the processing period by 50%. Issuance of the digital certificate will also reduce the certificate issuing period to one working day.
The review of sanitary conditions for domestic special-use cosmetic manufacturers, domestic special-use cosmetic production and marketing supervision, domestic non-special use cosmetics filing, continuous production filing, filing changes and filed products cancellation can be processed in the Provincial Government Online Service Hall.
