Malaysia National Pharmaceutical Control Bureau (NPCB) recently announced it will ban 3-benzylidene camphor from July 1 2016. Currently it is allowed to be used under the limit of 2.0%. The adjustment was made during the 23th Meeting of ASEAN Cosmetic Committee (ACC) which was held in Bangkok, Thailand on 26- 27 November 2015 to align with EU No.2015/1298.
