Australia Previews September 2026 Updates to Industrial Chemicals Categorisation Guidelines

On March 4, 2026, Australia's Industrial Chemicals Introduction Scheme (AICIS) published a preview of upcoming changes to the 2026 AICIS Industrial Chemicals Categorisation Guidelines, following a feedback period that ran from 13 November 2025 to 28 January 2026. The finalised changes will take effect from September 2026, including updates to the chemicals with high hazards list and several definitional and editorial revisions.

Tracking South Korea’s Cosmetic Safety Assessment Regulations
South Korea has established a cosmetic safety assessment system through the partial amendment to the Cosmetics Act (Act No. 21302, promulgated on December 30, 2025). Under the new system, cosmetic responsible sellers are required to prepare and retain product safety assessment documentation reviewed by a safety assessor before products are placed on the market or distributed.
