China NIFDC Seeks Comments on Two Draft Cosmetic Testing Methods

On July 21, 2026, China National Institutes for Food and Drug Control (NIFDC) released a notice seeking public comments on two draft cosmetic testing standards to further improve cosmetic technical standards. The two drafts are the "Detection of Pseudomonas aeruginosa in Cosmetics (Draft for Comment)" and the "Determination of Ethanol and Other 39 Kinds of Components in Cosmetics (Draft for Comment)". The deadline for submitting feedback via the Cosmetic Standard Formulation and Revision Management System is August 30, 2026.
