China NMPA Adjusts the Inventory of Existing Cosmetic Ingredients in China: 49 Ingredients Revised and One Added

On April 13, 2026, the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) announced the fourth dynamic adjustment to the Inventory of Existing Cosmetic Ingredients in China (IECIC). This update primarily introduces a newly approved cosmetic ingredient and standardizes the Chinese and INCI nomenclature for 49 ingredients to ensure global consistency and accuracy. The adjustments took effect immediately upon their release on April 13, 2026.¹
