As revealed by China General Administration of Customs’ (GAC) latest data on non-compliant cosmetics, a total of 15 batches of cosmetics imported from 3 countries failed customs inspection at Chinese ports in September 2019. Among them, hand wash and toothpaste products accounted for the majority of rejections. Reasons for rejections was primarily associated with the failure to submit relevant materials.
