South Korea’s MFDS has amended the Enforcement Rule of the Cosmetics Act, effective April 2, 2026, to strengthen safety management of cosmetics purchased via cross-border e-commerce.
On March 31, 2026, South Korea's Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) announced the promulgation of amendments to the Enforcement Rule of the Cosmetics Act, aimed at strengthening the safety management of cosmetics purchased through cross-border e-commerce. The revised rule took effect on April 2, 2026.
