Taiwan to Strengthen Cosmetic Claims Regulations

Recently a revision to “List of Prohibited/Allowable Claims for Cosmetics” was released and is scheduled to be implemented on April 1 2017.

Compared to the current version, the new version adds lots of prohibited claims and places more emphasis on defining the illegal use of exaggerated, medical and false claims.

The detailed changes are shown as below:
