On November 11, 2022, Thailand’s Ministry of Public Health issued two notices through the 266th issue of the Government Gazette, revising the list of permitted sunscreens used in cosmetics. These notices have taken effect from November 12, 2022.
Thailand permits the use of Methoxypropylamino Cyclohexenylidene Ethoxyethylcyanoacetate (MCE) as a sunscreen agent in cosmetics, with a maximum concentration of 3%.
