China and South Korea Sign MoU on Cosmetics Supervision Cooperation

China and South Korea will enhance supervision cooperation in the fields of cosmetics, drugs and medical devices through high-level meetings, personnel training and regulatory information exchanges.

On February 26, 2019, Jiao Hong, Head of National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) of China, and RYU YoungJin, Minister (now the former Minister) of South Korean Ministry of Food and Drug Safety, signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Drugs, Medical Devices and Cosmetics Supervision Cooperation in Beijing. The MoU clarified the main orientation of the future bilateral cooperation and strengthened cooperation in the fields of drugs, medical devices and cosmetics through high-level meetings, personnel training and regulatory information exchanges.
