On Sep 27th, 2019, ChemLinked Attended the 2019 China Fragrance Flavor and Cosmetic Industries Annual Meeting in Xiamen. During the meeting, an official from NMPA disclosed on China’s new regulatory framework offered details on pending regulations.
At present 3 regulations in the framework were implemented and 4 regulations were released for public consultation. The status of the regulations is shown as follow:

For the 4 drafts and 12 unreleased regulations, the official didn' t give a specific timeline of release and implementation. She just mentioned that they are coming soon, especially the overarching regulation Cosmetic Supervision and Administration Regulations [8]. According to an insider, the Cosmetic Supervision and Administration Regulations should be released and implemented by the State Council this year.
