Korea’s Ministry of Health & Welfare has opened its “Product Specific Rule” to public feedback until 18 August 2015. The comments must be sent to the following email: mjhong@kcia.or.kr and must be compiled in accordance with the following two templates:
The move arrives in the run-up to the eighth meeting of the “Korea-China-Japan Free Trade Agreement” and the inaugural meeting of the “Korea-China-Central America Free Trade Agreement” expected to take place in the middle of September. Korean Cosmetic Association was called upon to submit their comments regarding cosmetic products, if any.
What is the Product Specific Rule?
Product Specific Rule—PSR, is a requirement to label products with specific information including the HS Code, product description and origin.
