Zhejiang Opens Another Acceptance Window for Filing of First-Imported Non-Special Use Cosmetics

In order to further improve cosmetic filing efficiency and quality, Zhejiang MPA announced on 11th June to establish a new acceptance window in Huzhou city.^[1]

Zhejiang MPA has established its fifth provincial filing acceptance window in Huzhou city, coming just several months after the release of provincial enforcement rules for filing management of first-imported non-special use cosmetics in Zhejiang province in November 2018 ^[2]. The other four filing windows are in the provincial MPA headquarters (Hangzhou), Zhoushan, Jinhua and Yiwu city. A domestic responsible person located within the administrative jurisdiction of these cities shall complete filing at their local acceptance window. A domestic responsible person located outside these cities in Zhejiang shall complete filing at the provincial MPA.

According to Zhejiang MPA, more filing windows in Zhejiang are on the way.
