[Updated] Taiwan Implements a New List of Prohibited Ingredients in Cosmetics

Taiwan updated the List of Prohibited Ingredients in Cosmetics, which adds 4 ingredients and deletes 2 repeated ingredients. The list takes effect on July 1, 2022.

On April 27, 2022, TFDA finalized the updated List of Prohibited Ingredients in Cosmetics, which officially takes effect on July 1, 2022. 1 Compared to the previous list, the updated list is subject to the following changes: 

1. Add 4 ingredients
