Thailand Revises Guideline for Cosmetic Manufacturing and Import Site Inspections

On October 16, 2025, the Thai Food and Drug Administration (Thai FDA) released the Manual for Officers: Guidelines for the Inspection of Sites in Accordance with the Notification of the Ministry of Public Health Re: Rules, Procedures and Conditions on the Manufacture or Importation of Cosmetics, B.E. 2561 (2018) (Second Revised Edition). Effective from October 1, 2025, this updated manual provides clearer and more comprehensive guidance for inspecting cosmetic manufacturing, import, and storage facilities across Thailand.
